In the morning, convene in the hotel lobby to commence a full-day excursion led by a knowledgeable guide. Our destination for the day is the captivating city of Rotterdam and the renowned Kinderdijk, both situated just an hour's drive away from Amsterdam.

Our first port of call will be the enchanting Kinderdijk, an esteemed UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its iconic windmills. Here, you'll encounter a collection of 19 meticulously preserved windmills, originating from the 18th century. These windmills were ingeniously constructed to manage the waters of the polder, the land located below sea level, thereby safeguarding the region from flooding. The windmills serve as a remarkable testament to the Dutch expertise in water management.

Throughout the tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore the fascinating Kinderdijk Windmill Museum, delving into the rich history, engineering marvels, and functional significance of these iconic structures. Furthermore, we will embark on a serene boat voyage along the enchanting canals, providing you with breathtaking vistas of the windmills set against the tranquil water landscape.

We will continue the day in the city of Rotterdam, a 15-minute drive from Kinderdijk. We will take a break for lunch at the fascinating Markthal, where you will be immersed in a feast of colors and flavors (meals not included). A culinary paradise that offers a wide variety of fresh local products, providing an authentic dive into Dutch culinary culture.

Next, we will pass by the iconic Cube Houses of Rotterdam, built in the late 1970s by the famous Dutch architect Piet Blom as part of the revitalization plan for the area known as Oude Haven (Old Port) of Rotterdam. The Cube Houses are not only an architectural wonder, but also represent the audacity and creativity of Rotterdam in reimagining urban spaces and challenging traditional building design conventions. We will end by passing over the Erasmus Bridge and returning to the hotel.
